What to Expect?
I’m so excited to photograph your family! Whether you’re welcoming a new baby, making memories with the whole family, or chasing little feet at sunset, our goal is simple: for you to feel completely at ease and leave with photos you truly love.
Here’s what to expect, every step of the way.
Before the Session
1. We’ll chat!
Once you are booked in, I’ll send over a quick questionnaire to get to know your family, your style, and any special
moments you want captured.
2. Choose a location
We can shoot in your home (great for newborns!), at a park, by the water, or any spot that feels like “you.”
Don’t worry – I’ll help you choose something beautiful and low-stress if you don't have somewhere specific in mind.
3. Wardrobe help? Yes please.
We’re always happy to help with outfit guidance. Comfort is perfection, but coordinating colours and avoiding big logos or
text usually photographs best. I’ll send inspo if you want it!
The day of
Keep it simple. Be yourselves.
No pressure to perform or force smiles. I promise to gently guide you, but the best moments happen when you just enjoy each other's company.
For kids:
snacks, a favourite toy, and zero expectations go a long way.
For newborns:
take breaks as needed - feeding, changing, cuddling - it’s all part of the beauty.
Expect some playing, snuggling, laughing, and maybe even a little dancing if the moment calls for it. Wiggles? Frozen? Moana? Whatever gets them laughing and having fun.
After Your Session
Within 2-3 weeks, I’ll send a beautiful, private online gallery with your chosen edited images ready to download, share,
and print.
A few gentle reminders:

Please don’t stress. Kids will be kids, babies will be babies, and perfection isn’t the goal - connection is.

If someone’s having a rough day, we’ll pivot. We build sessions with lots of grace and flexibility.
